This is a blown glass stein with a pewter lid. On the bottom it says in German - Gambrinus - King of Brewer. Gambrinus is a holding company that imports foreign beer to the USA and aslo controls the Shiner Distillery in Shiner, TX. This item was made for Grob Systems in 1992. These are not as common as standard steins due to the extra work involved. This stein measures ca. 7 inches high by ca. 4 inches in diameter. In addition, there is a hard to photograph hallmark inside of the lid. It says ERBO ZINN. Quality glass and pweter craft from Germany.
