Overview: Up for sale is an absolute masterpiece. This impressionist oil painting on stretched canvas was painted by listed Hawaii artist, Irma Brickman (1912-1989). Brickman started painting in 1955 and was well-known for her landscapes of her native Hawaii. The painting depicts a lush mountain/valley scene, likely of Oahu. Painting is faintly signed at lower left. Artist's name, address and phone number are written on verso. Undated, but I estimate that it dates to the late 1960's or early 1970's. Framed in a very nice wooden frame with linen matting.
Condition: Painting and frame are in excellent condition.
Measurements: Painting measures 24 inches wide x 15 inches high. Frame measures approximately 30.75 inches wide x 21.75 inches high.
